Update: Late word last night that Blogger relented upon appeal and agreed to turn them back on. Something about "we thought there was a spam problem" ... of course that's the trick the Obama supporters used. They complain to blogger about spamming and get them to "investigate" the blogs they don't like.
We had the same thing happen in NW Indiana, when a mayor didn't like some things being said about him on a message board, so he had staff go on and submit "offensive" on all the posts, which the paper did then remove.
The author believes that his site and others were shut down because they are running an anti-Barack campaign. If this is the case, this is outright censorship by Google. Hard to believe but the coincidence is as well.

Uppity Woman has a running list of blogs affected as well. In an abundance of caution, she’s set up an alternate site to be used if and when her blogger site is blocked completely (I was shocked to learn that since June 3, she’s had to use word verification to create new posts.) |
